    Courses in which Foreign students can take Admissions:

    The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda(MSU) currently has 14 Faculties and 3 Colleges and 20 Centers of Excellence with around 1200 faculty members and 40,000 students.  It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC),  An autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission with Grade ‘A”.

    MSU Baroda’s career-focused courses are designed to give its students the kind of education employers rate highly. These courses provide practical, hands-on training, learning from real-life scenarios that take the students beyond our campus. The University offers  98 PG courses, 66 Ph.D. programmes, 39 PG Diploma courses and 88 UG courses with an option from 347 programmes in 92 subjects and offers a wide range of courses.

    MSU Baroda, offers certificate, diploma, Undergraduate, post graduate and Ph.D. degree Courses ranging from Sanskrit, music, drama, dance, Painting, Sculpture and Art History in the Faculty of Fine Arts. Preservation of Ancient India Literature and Vedic Traditions at the Oriental Institute, commerce, arts, science, home science, medicine, architecture, pharmacy, technology and engineering, fashion designing and technology, and also offers courses in emerging areas, like Nanotechnology, Petroleum Geology, Medical Biotechnology, Bio Informatics, Disaster Management, Embedded Systems, Packaging Engineering Welding Technology has expertise in the latest technological innovations such as Centre for Biotechnology, Genome Research Centre, Bio-informatics network, Centre for Microbial Genomics and the latest, the Centre for Molecular Genetics.

    Faculty of Arts has 20 departments (Canadian, French, German, Russian, Persian, Arabic, Urdu, Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, Sindhi, Marathi, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Linguistics, Archaeology, Political Science, Economics and Library and Information Science).

    Faculty of Commerce offers undergraduate as well as postgraduate and PhD degrees in various courses ranging from Banking and Insurance, Accounting and Financial Management, Business economics, Cooperative management and rural studies and has 6 campuses. It also offers a Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) program.

    Faculty of Management studies offers a regular masters program in business administration  MBA) in finance, marketing and operations management and evening program in finance marketing, Human resource management and operations management.


    Faculty of Science has 12 Departments (Physics, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Applications, Environmental Studies, Geology, Geography, Microbiology and Biochemistry ) and Vikram Sarabhai Institute of cell and molecular biology which has an outstanding global reputation and dedicated academic staff which will provide you a new direction in your career.

    Faculty of Education & Psychology of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has its origin from the Secondary Training College, Baroda. Mr. R. Littlehaile's, Education Commissioner with the Government of India, made a survey of Education in the Baroda State in 1933. The Faculty has 3 Departments, Department of Education- CASE, Department of Psychology and Department of Educational Administration. It also has an Inter University centre for Teacher Education (IUCTE).

    Faculty of Law offers Undergraduate as well as post graduate courses with specialization in Business Law Group , Criminal Law Group, Constitution and Legal Order, Environment and Legal Order and also a BA. LLM Honours program. It also offers a post graduate diploma in Taxation Laws and Labour Practice.

    Faculty of Fine Arts was founded in June 1950. For the first time in independent India, a programme of study was introduced to offer UG/Diploma, PG/Post-Diploma Courses and Research facilities. Faculty of Fine arts has 6 Department (Applied arts, Art history and aesthetics, graphic arts, museology, painting and sculpture).

    Faculty of Family and Community Sciences 5 Departments offering UG/Diploma, PG/Post-Diploma Courses and Research facilities (Clothing and Textile, Foods and Nutrition,  Family and community Resource management, Extension Education and a composite program). 

    Faculty of Performing Arts, one of the star institutions in India for in-depth study of the classical performing arts, offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees through its Department of Dance, Dramatics, Music (Indian classical/vocal), music (instrumental) and Department of Tabla.

    Faculty of Social work, offers, undergraduate and postgraduate program in Social work, Masters in Human resource management and post graduate diploma in human resource management; Industrial relations and personnel management and Corporate Social Responsibility

    Faculty of Journalism and Mass communication offers undergraduate as well as post graduate degrees/

    The Institute of Fashion technology is offering 3 Degree Programmes in:Textiles and Apparel Design; Garment Technology and Fashion Communication. It is also offering One year P.G. Diploma in Fashion Retailing and Merchandising.

    Maharaja Ranjit Sinh Gaekwad Institute of Design [MRID] MRID offers design courses at the Graduate and post Graduate levels specializing in Craft and Design, Communication Design, Accessory Design, Ceramic & Glass and Moving Images. The Degrees offered are with the Bachelor of Design [B.Des] and Master of Design [M.Des]. MRID is intending to create an advantageous academic environment of creative minds working in pure visual arts along with Craft and Modern Design. 

    Baroda Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree, Shastri, Acharya and Visharad along with certificate courses.

    Besides these courses, the University also houses the Faculty of Pharmacy, faculty of Engineering and Technology, polytechnic college and Faculty of Medicine wherein the students are admitted as per the norms of the Central Government.

    Admission in MSU Baroda: The M S University of Baroda has a long tradition of having foreign students under various academic programs. The university has been having students from Africa, America, East and South East Asia, Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, to name a few. The foreign students seek admissions in various programs at under graduate, post graduate and research level.
